During the nation-wide lockdown in New Zealand, I had a lot of time to reflect. During those serene moments, I noticed sounds around me that I had taken for granted before pandemic hit the world.
Listening to the sounds in my immediate surroundings and from audio, I let those sounds take control over my mind and body. By acting reversely, I begin to understand the psychological effects that sounds have no matter how subtle they might be in our daily lives.
Here are some audio samples I have collected during the lockdown period at home in New Zealand:
Water dripping from tree onto grass and mud
Cars and pedestrian
Airplanes, water drops, birds
Cow eating glass
